Grant Beyer, a beloved resident of Buffalo, New York, tragically lost his life in a devastating car accident on New York Route 33. Grant, a 28-year-old software engineer known for his infectious smile and generous spirit, was a cherished member of his community and loved by all who knew him. 

Born on July 14, 1996, in Buffalo, Grant grew up with a passion for technology and innovation. 

After graduating from Buffalo High School, he pursued his love for computer science at the University at Buffalo, where he excelled academically and made lifelong friends. 

Grant's curiosity and determination led him to a fulfilling career as a software engineer at a local tech company, where he quickly earned a reputation for his technical expertise and collaborative spirit. 

He was a dedicated professional who always went the extra mile to support his colleagues and deliver exceptional results.

Outside of his career, Grant was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking in the nearby Adirondacks and spending weekends camping with friends and family. 

He was also passionate about photography, capturing the beauty of nature and the joy of life through his lens. 

His photographs often served as a reflection of his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for the simple, beautiful moments in life.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jennifer Beyer, his younger sister, Emily, and his longtime girlfriend, Rebecca.

A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Buffalo, where Grant's loved ones will gather to celebrate his life and bid him a heartfelt farewell. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Buffalo Nature Center, a place Grant loved and supported, in his memory.
