Brooks Thomas Wilson, a beloved resident of Santaquin, Utah, tragically lost his life in a sudden accident on August 23, 2024. Known for his adventurous spirit, joyful personality, and deep love for his family, Brooks’s untimely death has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Brooks was born on October 15, 1990, in Provo, Utah, to loving parents James and Cynthia Wilson. 

From a young age, he exhibited a zest for life and a fearless curiosity about the world around him. 

As a child, Brooks was always eager to explore, whether it was climbing trees in his backyard, riding his bike through the neighborhood, or hiking the beautiful trails of the Wasatch Mountains. 

His love for adventure never waned, and as he grew older, he took up rock climbing, skiing, and mountain biking, always seeking new challenges and experiences.

A graduate of Payson High School, Brooks was known for his kindness, humor, and willingness to help others. 

He was a friend to all, often described as the life of the party with an infectious smile that could light up any room. 

His natural ability to connect with people made him a cherished member of the community. 

After high school, Brooks attended Utah Valley University, where he earned a degree in outdoor recreation management, combining his passion for the outdoors with a desire to help others experience the beauty of nature.

Brooks met the love of his life, Emily, while on a camping trip with friends in Moab. The two quickly bonded over their shared love for adventure and the outdoors. 

They were married in 2015 and built a life together in Santaquin, where they were blessed with two beautiful children, Aiden and Lily. 

As a devoted husband and father, Brooks cherished every moment spent with his family, teaching his children to ski, fish, and appreciate the wonders of nature.

Brooks's death is a profound loss to his family, friends, and the entire Santaquin community. 

His adventurous spirit, warm heart, and eternal love for his family will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. 

Brooks is survived by his wife, Emily, his children, Aiden and Lily, his parents, James and Cynthia, and his siblings, Sarah and Michael. 

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, a testament to a life well-lived, filled with adventure, joy, and love.
