Jordan Riley, a young man originally from Kingston, Jamaica, and a resident of Windsor, Connecticut, tragically lost his life in a car accident on August 25, 2024. His sudden and untimely passing has left his family, friends, and community in deep sorrow. 


Jordan was just 28 years old, and his vibrant spirit and kind heart made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. 

Born on September 5, 1995, in Kingston, Jamaica, Jordan was the youngest of three children. 

He grew up surrounded by a loving family that instilled in him the values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of community. 

Jordan’s early years in Kingston were filled with joy, laughter, and the strong cultural heritage of his homeland, which he carried with him throughout his life. 

In 2009, Jordan moved with his family to Windsor, Connecticut, in search of new opportunities and a better life.

He attended Windsor High School, where he excelled academically and was an active member of the track and field team. 

His passion for sports, especially soccer, was well-known among his peers, and he often brought his Jamaican roots to the field with his energetic style of play.

After graduating high school, Jordan pursued a degree in business administration from the University of Hartford. 

His ambition was to one day return to Jamaica and start a business that would give back to the community that had given him so much. 

He was deeply committed to his studies and was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, always thinking of innovative ideas and ways to make a positive impact.

Jordan’s sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His friends and family describe him as a loving son, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. 

His infectious smile, warm personality, and genuine kindness touched the lives of everyone he met.
